More fun with bump maps

Still had to mirror it in Photoshop.

One more planet

More fun with bumps and camera.

And one more of my "Enterprise"

Star Trek. When will it return? Strange new worlds. Leave that to me.

More space stuff

And... When "Enterprise" came on TV as the "prequel" to the original Star Trek, I made my own ship that was more primitive than the Enterprise...but still cool to look at! Hey, the gauntlet was thrown.

Couldn't resist it, I did some outer space stuff. This is a few years old, will have to go back over all the camera stuff I did.

Ancient Maya work

Here's the chicken I created at Friedman 3D under the instruction of John Park. The little short I made from this scene was accepted into the 2002 "Bring your own Video" open screening put on by L.A. Siggraph. It was a good break.

Previous Maya work

Here's my old friend, Herman Bear. I've been drawing him since High School, and he finally became a Maya 3D character. His model and rig were a big breakthrough for me.
This was 2002..?

Second Year Maya Work

The WWI project I developed at Friedman 3D. They're at http://www.studioarts.tv/StudioArts2005/aboutus.html

Cars

Some car sketches from Bob's Big Boy in Burbank, CA.

Happy New Year

Thought I'd reminisce about some old stuff. Show you where I've been before Maya 3D came along...
This was my idea for a comic. It combined elements from classic animation and classic science fiction adventure. I got the idea from a Russian fairy tail where the hero has to search the earth for other heroes to help him save his village.

3D modeling

Here's a dude I modeled in Maya for the Friedman 3D "Mars Rover Project".
It was a refreshing challenge taking art direction from Christope Vacher; you can see his work at
