Back on the Road to Utopia!

From my storyboard Pandora's Box",I had to go beyond cleaning up the thumbnail sketch in Photoshop, virtually had to redraw it.

Here's the airport tavern where the Bear from the blimp meets the locals.

(And he thought he was walking into an "Appleby's"!)

Young frankenstein

Its Gene Wilder's voice, I hope he doesn't mind me using it with this character.

Still working on it...

Maybe "Road to Utopia" is not working. Part of the plot is that the heroes create so much trouble for each other that all the bad guys have to do is play it cool and let the heroes destroy themselves. Let's see if "Pandora's Box" works as a catchier title.

Utopia: the Airship

Captain Kirk had the Enterprise, and the Doctor had the Tardis; so I tried to match one of my characters to the vehicle that was right for him. In this case, my bear built himself an airship that's part rocket-ship as well. He's a nice guy, so the ship isn't loaded down with weapons. But he will find a way to build in other gadgets, and give it super-speed too!

One more time

All right, they say "don't die with your music still in you". Well, I've been turning it over on how to make my private world palatable to the public. A good story, and characters people can identify with, and care about, that's the trick ain't it? Whether this will just be a comic, a Flash project, or a full fledged motion picture, all I can say is...

Watch this space!

Wonderfulness...

I miss this style of drawing...Things had volume back then.

Ancient CG Part II

First time making goblets on the old IBM PCs. I was floored...! Back then, that is.

It was 20 years ago today...Next year. But I drew this with a mouse on an IBM PC at Lakeland Community College in my first computer graphics class. Couldn't wait til next year!
